Sahajanand Medical Technologies has opened its public share offering for subscription, providing a three-day window for investors to place bids. The issue is seeing activity in the unofficial market, where unofficial participants are indicating a premium over the upper price band. However, observations suggest that unofficial valuations can shift and that final market debut performance might vary from preliminary unofficial trends.
The medical technology enterprise has set out to collect Rs 475.48 crore through this public offering. This capital-raising exercise consists solely of an offer for sale involving 1.38 crore shares. Because the transaction is entirely an offer for sale, the business itself will not retain any capital from the share sale, with all proceeds directed entirely to the selling shareholders.
Management has established a price range of Rs 327 to Rs 344 per equity share for the public issue. The subscription window remains open until October 19, 2026, with the process for determining the share allotment scheduled to conclude on October 21. The equity instruments are provisionally slated to make their debut on the BSE and the NSE on October 23.
For retail participants applying at the highest end of the valuation range, the designated lot size is 43 shares, which translates to a starting capital requirement of Rs 14,792. Prior to opening the subscription to the wider public, the firm secured Rs 140 crore from anchor participants by allotting equity units at the ceiling price of Rs 344 each.
Financial accounts show that total income advanced 18% to reach Rs 1,219 crore for the 2026 financial year, moving up from Rs 1,036 crore in the preceding twelve-month period. Profit after tax recorded a sharp increase of 175% to hit Rs 69 crore, compared with Rs 25 crore previously. Operational revenue also grew across recent periods, moving from Rs 901.60 crore to higher levels.
Established in October 2001, the entity focuses on manufacturing and marketing advanced medical instruments for vascular and structural heart interventions. Its operational footprint includes three production sites across India and Thailand, alongside two research and development units, while its workforce counts thousands of personnel across full-time, consultant, and contractor roles.

What a board might note
- How does an entirely offer-for-sale structure, where the firm receives zero proceeds, impact capital allocation and future expansion plans for the business?
- What factors might cause the unofficial grey market premium of 12% to fluctuate before the official listing on the BSE and NSE on October 23, 2026?
- How do the operational figures, such as the revenue progression from Rs 901.60 crore up to Rs 1,210.50 crore, align with the 175% surge in profit after tax in FY26?
